Such a quiet and beautiful place is not found anywhere else! You will simply be pleasantly surprised with the way this tour has been organized. This tour is for the ones who want to discover the land of nomads. Kyrgyzstan is just a perfect place for trekking over incredible mountains and through treasured gorges. There exists the second largest mountain lake in the world called Issyk-Kul on the way. You will get a taste of the real nomadic style of life far away from the hectic of busy and stuffy cities.


Day 1: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley
Your guide will meet you at Manas International Airport and accompany you to Bishkek City (30 min. drive). The day starts with a breakfast. Afterwards you will have your day dedicated to a guided Bishkek City Tour, including lunch. The tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. Then you will be transferred to the Chon Kemin valley in the Kalmak-Ashuu Guesthouse, where you also will spend the night. On the way, we will visit the Burana Tower (minaret of the 11 century in one of the cities located through the Great Silk Road) and its attached open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). Dinner will be served at 7 pm.


Day 2: Chon Kemin valley - Tamga
After the breakfast that is served at 7 o'clock in the morning, you will start your trip to Tamga (380 km,6h) by car. We will drive along the southern shore of the celestial Issyk-Kul Lake, which is second largest mountain lake in the world (1608m.above sea level). The Lake is also acknowledged as "the pearl of Central Asia". Dinner will be served in the Tamga Guesthouse, where you will also spend the night.


Day 3: Tamga - Jukku gorge - pass Jukku
We will approach the entrance of the gorge Jukka right after we eat and leave the guesthouse at 8 a.m. From there we will hike through the gorge until we arrive at the foot of the pass Jukka. You will take lunch on the way. Jukku is a perfect place for Kyrgyz nomadic shepherds to graze the cattle. You will meet real nomads who still live in yurts and to try national drink Kumis (alcohol mare's milk). Your dinner will be in the open air. And you will spend the night in tents in wild nature.

Day 4: Pass Jukku - Ak-Shirak
The day starts with breakfast at 8 o'clock as usual. After the hiking over the pass Jukku, you will have lunch. Then you will continue your hiking along the Silk Road (7hours) inside the Ak Shirak mountain range (average level is 3680m above sea). Ak-Shirak is prominent for its mountain Chokoli lakes. All of them find their origin in glaciers. There is a tremendous view over the majority of these lakes. After your dinner you will spend the night in yurts near these lakes.


Days 5-7: Syrty Ak-Shirak
Syrty Ak-Shirak(3000m above sea level) - From Ak Shirak it will take us 3-days-hike along the southern side of the Terskey Ala-Too Mountains to reach the foot of glacier Ashu-Tor. (3600-4200m).During this memorable trip you will also see our gorgeous Ara-Belsu Lake. Ak-Shirak is the place where ancient traders were hiding from robberies. It seems that good spirits look after you there.
All nights are to be spent in traditional nomadic collapsible dwellings - yurts. They are made of felt and wooden frame without a single nail.


Day 8: Gorge Ashu-Tor
Hike over the pass Ashu-Tor (4000m.) is to be put forward right after a strengthening breakfast. While having a picnic at this place you will overlook the Ashu-Tor glacier. Then you will approach the Ara-Belsu Lake before starting the descent to Ashu-Tor gorge by passing through the stunning Northern Ashu-Tor valley (7 Hours, 3250m). Dinner is followed by the overnight spent in tents.

Day 9: Gorge Ashu-Tor - Gorge Chon-Kyzyl-Suu
After packing your backpacks, you will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock before you start your  hike that tales 7 hours down to the Chon Kyzyl Suu valley and the old geophysics station (2650m). Lunch break is organized on the way. Your dinner is served at 8 p.m. The night is spent in yurts just like nomads do. A yurta is made of felt and wooden skeleton without a single nail. It is a collapsible dwelling of nomads. It takes only few hours to erect and to collapse, respectively.


Day 10: Gorge Chon-Kyzyl-Suu - Bishkek
Breakfast is served at 8 a.m. In the morningyou will be guided down to the hot water springs of Jeli Suu, (1 Hours) where you can take a bath. After taking lunch we will take you back to Bishkek (350km) by car along the southern shore of celestial Issyk Kul Lake (1600m.ab.s.l.) via the magnificent Boom gorge. You will arrive in Bishkek at a Hotel **** at around 7 pm, where you will have time for yourself until your pick up at 8 pm. You will have a leaving dinner in a restaurant with a national folklore show in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.


Day 11: Return Journey
Your guide meets you at your Hotel at the pick up time arranged previously according to your flight details and accompany you to Manas International Airport.
